Congratulations to PSE's 2025 Education Support Professional of the Year, Becky Purvis!

Becky was honored at an assembly at Hood Canal Elementary and Junior High School on May 29th, 2025. Click here to watch a video of Becky receiving her award.

Becky has been a PSE member for 18 years and is currently the lead paraeducator and kitchen manager for her school.

"Becky stands out for her unwavering dedication to our school and local community. She consistently goes above and beyond—organizing events, supporting families, and actively participating in school initiatives—all to foster the well-being and success of students, staff, and families. Her commitment is evident in her consistent involvement and her lasting positive impact on school culture," said Kayla Janowski, a co-worker who nominated Becky for this award.
