Benefits of PSE Membership

Your union membership entitles you to enroll for no-cost coverage for accidental death insurance.
 
Enroll now to take advantage of up to $5,000 of no-cost coverage because you are a union member. Supplement any protection you currently have or add more coverage to this no-cost benefit.
 
There's no charge or commitment required for you to receive this coverage:

• $1,000 of coverage for death due to any type of accident at home, at work or while commuting or traveling anywhere in the world.
• PLUS $4,000 of additional coverage against accidental death from covered motor vehicle/pedestrian accidents.

This benefit is not automatic. You must enroll by going to Union Secure. Place your mouse over the “Products” option on the menu. A drop-down menu will appear; choose “Accidental Death & Dismemberment.” To take advantage of the no-cost accidental death coverage complete the five easy steps, click on “Enroll Now.”
 
The General Information screen will appear. Fill in the required fields with the following:

Union Name: SEIU – Service Employee
State: WA
Date of Birth: enter month, day and year from dropdown menu.
 
Once your selections have been made, “continue” to the next screen. You will be required to complete all “Basic Information” before continuing to the “Coverage” page.
 
Note:  Make sure that you select the checkbox for no-cost coverage. You may select other insurance plans at your cost.
 
You should receive your policy certificate in the mail within 7-10 business days. Your policy will become effective on the first day of the month following the month in which your application is received.
 
You will only be allowed to add one beneficiary; however, if you want to add additional beneficiaries, you may do so. Once you have received your insurance policy call (800) 393-0864 to request additional beneficiary forms by mail. Complete them and return them to the insurance company.
