PSE delegates voted to affiliate and become SEIU Local 1948 in December 2005. This allows us to preserve our independence and autonomy. And it means we're also beginning to network and cooperate with our new SEIU brothers and sisters in Washington and around the nation to have a stronger voice for classified employees.
